Awards & Grants

PennACE Grants:

Each year, PennACE seeks to fund collaborative projects that support its mission and purpose by awarding grants of up to $1,000.00 to member colleges, universities and employers.

JoAnne Day Student of the Year Awards:

PennACE would like to reconginize the achievements and contributions made by undergraduate students enrolled at member institutions who have completed an internship or co-op assignment.  The JoAnne Day Student of Year Awards were created for this purpose in honor of a career development professional.  There are four categories, each awarding $250.

Donna Dentler Service Award:

The Donna Dentler Service Award is presented by the Executive Board to a PennACE member who has provided outstanding service to the association.

Keystone Award:

The Keystone Award is presented to a PennACE member who has made contributions to and been actively involved in the association within the first five years of membership…a keystone to the future of PennACE!

PennACE Excellence Award:

The PennACE Excellence Award was established in 2022 to recognize the contributions of our members to better the career development and employer relationships of our students, alumni and employees. Any PennACE member can nominate another for recognition for their work - at their company/institution, for the career development and recruitment fields, or for PennACE itself. Nominees will be announced prior to the annual conference and the winners will be announced at our annual business meeting each year. 

Qualifications

• Must be a current member of the PennACE Organization
• Must be nominated by a current member of the PennACE Organization - self nominations will not be considered
• Nominees should be a colleague or co-worker/team member who did something exemplary in the last year. Share their exceptional work and reasoning as the application in up to 500 words

Additional Details

• Nominations accepted July 1 - March 1
• All nominees will be announced by the end of March
• Up to 3 awards will be given each year
• Applications will be reviewed by the board and announced at the annual conference
• Framed and matted certificate will be presented to the award winners
